INSPECTION OF SEAM A visual inspection of the seam should be made to determine if the seam is forming properly. Check seam with the GO-GAUGE provided.

The GO-GAUGE has two slots; one is the high end of tolerance (0.375”) and the other is below the low end of tolerance (0.249”).

HIGH END OF TOLERANCE •

If the 0.375” slot will not slide over the finished seam the seam is not forming properly.

CAUTION IF THE SEAMER IS NOT PRODUCING A FINISHED SEAM THAT PASSES THE GO-GAUGE TEST, STOP AT ONCE AND CALL CHIEF BUILDINGS AT 1.800.845.1775. AN ACCEPTABLE SEAM COULD RESULT IN FAILURE OF THE ROOF SYSTEM AND WILL VOID ALL WARRANTIES. FAILURE TO MAINTAIN
